Having served as a deputy manager at the State Bank of India, Pradhan’s desire to become a doctor lingered throughout his professional life. Upon his retirement in 2016, he seized the unexpected opportunity to rekindle his aspirations in the field of medicine. Undeterred by the challenges of age and family responsibilities, Pradhan embarked on a rigorous study routine while enrolling in online coaching programs to prepare for the daunting NEET.
Despite the difficulties of balancing education with familial commitments, Pradhan’s determination prevailed. His unwavering dedication bore fruit in 2020 when he successfully passed the NEET exam, securing a coveted spot at Odisha’s premier medical institution, the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR).
