All India Institute of Medical Sciences or AIIMS conducts the MBBS Entrance Examination every year for admitting students to the elite medical institutions. These exams are conducted for admission to the 7 AIIMS across India. This year, the MBBS Entrance Exam for AIIMS would be conducted on May 28 and the Online Application Forms have been released. The forms released on 23 January 2017 and the window would be open for one month, i.e. till February 23, 2017. 1. To begin with, ensure that you thoroughly go through the manual and instructions provided on the website. Candidates are requested to ensure that they go through the notice provided on the website detailing the specifications for the finger print, signature and photo upload.

2. Another thing to keep in mind is to ensure that all columns are filled.

3. Fees for the AIIMS MBBS Exam 2017 can only be paid through online modes of a debit/ credit card or net banking. Candidates are requested to note that the registration fee for AIIMS MBBA Exam 2017 is set as follows

Please note that apart from the above charges, a transaction fee might be applicable and would depend on the bank/ card charges as specified at the time of making the payment.

4. Candidates should be extra careful while filling the details in the columns for Name, date of birth, category and choice of examination center as changes in these fields might not be possible. Also remember, images once uploaded cannot be changed or modified.

5. Other details like the name of father/mother, gender and others can be changed/rectified till the registration window is open, i.e. February 23, 2017. No changes may be allowed after the same. Nor would AIIMS administration accept any requests in the same regard.

6. The process is completely online and hence candidates are advised to keep themselves aware of the changes being done, any notice being issued and so on. The admit cards and results would also be available online and no candidates would be sent any postal information of the same. It is hence extremely important to keep checking the official website for updates of any kind. 7. Candidates applying under the OBC category should ensure that they have a valid certificate. The validity of the certificate should be till 03/07/2017. In case the certificates are not valid at the time of counseling, the admission would be cancelled. Hence, candidates must ensure the same.

8. Applications without the requisite details and certificates would be cancelled. No specific information would be provided to the candidates and they are required to check the status of their applications during the specified time window.

9. It is extremely important to download and save the Registration Slip. Candidates must ensure to print the same and keep it safe till the completion of the Admission Process (that is till the counseling and admission into one of the 7 AIIMS)

10. Finally, candidates should keep in mind that there is only Online Registrations. Students are not required to send teh printed copy of the filled application forms. Students, however, should keep a copy of the filled application form to ensure they have filled all the details carefully.
