Spot allotment for MBBS/BDS on Sept 30

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will conduct a spot allotment on 30 September 2016 at Govt. Medical College Thiruvanathapuram at 10 am to fill the vacant MBBS/BDS merit seats and newly allotted MBBS seats in Sree Gokulam Medical College, Thiruvanathapuram.

Kochi: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will conduct a spot allotment on 30 September 2016 at Govt. Medical College Thiruvanathapuram at 10 am to fill the vacant MBBS/BDS merit seats and newly allotted MBBS seats in Sree Gokulam Medical College, Thiruvanathapuram.

The All India Quota seats reverted to State Quota will also be filled through this allotment scheduled on 30 September 2016 at the Old Auditorium in Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, on 26 September 2017, gave approval to increase the intake of Sree Gokulam Medical College from 50 to 150 MBBS seats. In the newly allotted 100 seats, 50% of the seats will be filled by the CEE through the spot allotment. The 25 BDS seats in the Sree Sankara Dental College, Thiruvanathapuram which is recently allotted to Govt Merit Quota, will also be filled on September 30.

The candidates who are in the KEAM rank list or those who have valid NEET score are eligible to attend the Spot Allotment. Those who are already admitted in private self-financing medical/dental colleges could not take part in this allotment.

The candidates who get new allotment in Govt Medical College have to remit Rs 25,000 at the time of allotment. The fee which must be remitted at the time of allotment is as follows:
Govt Medical College: Rs. 25,000
Govt Dental College: Rs. 23,000
Self-financing Medical College: Rs 2,50,000
Self-financing Dental College: Rs. 2,10,000
